• MQT

Upon successfully completing IQT, students move on to their desired Combat Coded Squadron (76 vFS, 510 vFS, or 421 vFS) to continue with airframe specific MQT. Throughout MQT students will further train to employ the aircraft in a tactical environment. In case of multi-role aircraft such as the F/A-18C and F-16C, MQT is broken into two blocks. The first block covers Air-to-Air (A/A) while the second block covers Air-to-Ground (A/G). Students who have gone through MQT possess the knowledge and skills to safely employ the aircraft and its weapons in a combat environment, fly as a wingman in 2-ship tactical formations, and avoid or react to ground and air threats.

Upon successfully completing MQT, the student is awarded the MQT Graduate patch for that airframe, Combat Mission Ready (CMR) rating, Senior Pilots wings, and the option to participate in additional offered training.
