5EVC is looking to deploy with the 476th

Good day,

Our organization, the 5 Virtual Wing Canada is looking to deploy and fly with others organized and immersion-focused virtual wing located in the same time zone than us (eastern Canada).

We have a long time relationship with the 132nd Virtual Wing from Norway but the time zone difference makes so that we are having a hard time to deploy and fly with them.

Our organization focuses on immersion, realism and respect of the actual real-life TTPs and SOPs. Our roster is made of several active and retired Canadian Army and Royal Canadian Air Force members.

If the 476th is interested in inviting the 5vWing to its OPs or training mission, I will be the point-of-contact for mission planning.

We are using UniversRadio to manage our comms. The decision of using this software is motivated by the fact that it is embedded with lotATC, another software we really appreciate.

The MODs we use are the 476th Range Objects pack and the Civilian Aircraft MODs. In addition to that we have our skins. The less MODs is the best...

Command Staff discussed and we are very interested in an invite for events your organization hosts. In addition, although we don't have the expertise like the 132d has we hope to host joint ops with your organization and the 132d.

Did anything ever come of this? If it's still a work in progress does anyone mind me getting on touch with Nimitz directly? I could really use some JTAC input into some of the Georgia missions I'm writing.

Nope, sent a PM but never heard back.

I replied to Scaley this week. We are still very interested in Joint OPs with the 476 and other organization. Our group recently migrated from UniversRadio to SRS since we realized that most of other organization in our timezone were using SRS.

With this done, we are ready to welcome other organization using SRS on our server.

At this time, we are actually "deployed" as part of a home-made campaign called "OP FRICTION 2". The initial brief can be access there: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QBR...ew?usp=sharing

We will modify the SPINS to reflect our recent migration to SRS.

If you are looking to deploy with us as part of OP FRICTION 2, simply let me know and we will set-up everything for you. (forum account, flight callsign, prefered tasking etc...)

In order to ensure we don't run into technical problem, we will limit the number of participants because we are not sure how many client our dedicated server can support.

Also, if you guys need support for your own activities, such a JTAC, FAC-A, AWACS or helicopter, CAS, DAS, etc..., 5EVC can provide a wide range of capacities.
