Hey all, just started getting a new error pop up when starting DCS. I tried repairing and reinstalling with the same error.
ERROR: Can't run C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin/DCS.exe: (6) The handle is invalid.- the error I am getting
Any ideas??
Long shot but check your quarantined folder of your AV software. Sometimes the exe is dumped for false positives, had a similar situation last week but different program.
Any idea where the folder is located?
Directly from your AV's GUI, there must be a "quarantine" tab or window or something.
Low and behold I did nothing to troubleshoot the issue but this morning everything is working fine again. I have no idea how or why this error came up but it is now gone for the time being at least.
