Hi, Avec from Norway here.

I am new to DCS: A-10C. I have been away from flight sims quite some time now. I bought DCS: Blackshark in 2009 but my divorce put a quick stop to the whole thing. Last serious simming was with Lock-On (the first one) back in 2005-6 or something. Now I have build a game rig and I am keen to fly the A-10. My Saitek rudders is in place and my TM Hotas Warthog is arriving by mail today or tomorrow.

What I liked with your group is that you seem to be serious (most simmers seems to be maybe) and I liked the idea of running a flight school for new trainees. I do not know if I will ever get accepted or get the chance to participate but I am interested to find out. I have 2 kids every second week. Playtime is norwegian evenings (GMT+1) mostly. What Is yours (all over the clock maybe? )?

I am 40 years old. I have been in the army for 5 years most of them commanding a battle tank. I have then been 7 years in the national guard as a sniper and instructor. I was 6 months in Afghanistan in 2010 where I was a squad leader in Force Protection (armored vehicle, escorts, and more). I have worked as an programmer/developer (mostly web, java, css, html) for the last twelve years.

I have downloaded most of your Checklists and Guides for reading (great work by the way) and I will continue training. I have a looong way to go
