My intro!
Hello, 476! My name is Matt, go by "Astro" in the air. I proudly serve my country as a Respiratory Therapist in the United States Navy. I've been in love with flying since I was a kid - my dad took me to air shows all the time and he flew Cessna 152/172s frequently. If I wasn't slightly red/green color deficient, I'd be a military aviator. Bummer, right?
But hey, everything happens for a reason! I can still fly! I'm working on my PPL in gliders, and I always have FSX and DCS to make it "real". That brings me to why I'm here. I've heard a lot of great things about the 476 and it's in-depth training regimen, and the members of the 476 are a great group.
I look forward to when applications are being accepted again. To those who served in the past or are presently serving in the military, thank you for everything you and your families do.
