Here we have an update on the AF 447 crash, as far as I remember, the Pilots haven't noticed that the elevator trim was on full-nose-up the whole time caused the crash.

But as is generally known we wants for nothing!
Yeah, as you trim the elevator, the horizontal stabilizer gets changed as a whole, not a trim tab as we see on the A-10C. When the horizontal stab is trimmed too much upwards the elevator might not have enough authority anymore.
