Very nicely done ! Maybe you can answer my question about plastic modelling. In the past I've built some models in 1/72. I did find that some parts are rather small and me getting close to 50 doesn't exactly help. So, are 1/48 kits beter in that respect ? I would think that the parts in à 1/48 kit would be bigger and easier to handle. Is that true ?
Hi Bengo!
Well as you can see I build mainly in 1:72 scale, though I did a few models in 1:48 as well. The answer to your question is yes and no. Although basic bit and pieces are larger, there's usually a lot more pieces that are moulded integrally with bigger parts in smaller scales, yet as single parts in larger scales. I guess your best bet is to buy a model and try it.
Hi Inflames,
Just seen your very nice model collection. I have been doing them too for years, i am in the process of building a 1/48 scale F4EJ of the ASADF. Please could you tell me the maker an scale of the F4 Phantom you have just finished, i would really like to get that kit. i also do a lot of Photography, an yes it all aircraft. i get mainly F15 F16 an the Eurofighter.
Many thanks for sharing your awesome work
Nice work. The detail and weathering is excellent. I especially like the battle damage on the a-10 For the panel lines are you pre-shading or post-shading? I have tried my hand at both with lackluster results. But I am still getting used to handling the airbrush in general.
Anyway keep up the good work.
Nice models! I used to do so many...id like to get back into it...heres my A-10... its been buried in here for awhile so I thought it deserved to be in the other hobby thread!

wow baxter, that's a really cool looking RC Hog
anyhow
My first finished builds of 2013. This models are probably one of the, if not the best in this scale. Egyptian machine was also equipped with Brengun photoetched parts, which were a real pain in the arse to install. Hope you like 'em and full article will be published in one of the future Scale Aircraft Modelling issues.
InFlames, RESPECT !
Very nice work Inflames. Think i might post some of my model photographs on here
