Welcome the the four seven six Kim. Great intro by the way. I love the 109 one of my favorite airplanes of all time. Unfortunately I'll never get to fly one...I tried to get in a restored G-6 but they were not made for tall individuals with wide shoulders...the canopy just sat on my head a few inches from being closed! Haha oh well it's the same with the spitfire...tiny cockpits. I guess I'll have to hit you up for some instruction some day. Great Jagdgeschwader as well...am a big fan of Marseille...for those of you that want to be impressed read Hans Joachim Marseille story...that guy was a sniper in aerial combat and amazing deflection shooter...sorry I must be bored... Welcome Kim!

Hey guys, thankx again for the warm welcome :-)
If you are interested in flying the 109 virtually, feel free to get the newest version of Cliffs of Dover, write me a pm and well meet in our or your ts and hop on a server after a few setups on the keys :-)
I´ve never even seen a real 109 from close, I saw a spit like 5m away and I thought as well, that this is a small piece of an aircraft :-)
    To fly one...
We`ll not in real live haha.

    Re: Hello

I am certainly interested in learning more about the 109. I have Cliffs of Dover but it's been a total train wreck for me.
I haven't kept up with later patches. Is it good enough these days?
I read the team pretty much stated that it won't get fixed anymore but rather they work on the expansion which will have major fixes instead?
I absolutely love WW2 era aircraft, hence my affinity for DCS P51.

mh, with the last patches, non of our team has had a launcher crash or so. It´s been running fluid and that on the hightest setting :-)
Of course there is still no AA (Anti Aliasing this time)
With the last patch the flightmodels where altered and now it became for some of us a new challenge :-)
But I still do love it. The ATAG Server is the one which has fluent players on it. Last time about 70!
So, it works and the missons on that server are good. the clouds are working now online.
But still far away from "perfect"
