By default DCS adds a key/key combination/button.

Make sure both of you are actually running TARS. You can check that once in the pit, tab out to TS and click on you and your friend. It will show up under his info.

If tars is not running, check that you installed it properly and that tars plugin is checked under teamspeak > plugins.

If tars is running than both of you should turn on the radios and be on the same frequency.

Stupid suggestion but when you unpause the mission in the pit do you turn on your radios on the same Frequency ? As Nu suggested you can alt tab too TS3 and see if the icon flashes when talking.

Doublechecked the freqs, they are the same. Q: within the TARS interface there are also 3 freqs, do you set them to the same freqs that you use to the respective radio in game?
TARS plugin checked yes under TS plugins.
Alt tab: TARS combo no blue light-->no comms (even with TARS key defaults)
Alt tab: TS3 --> yes blue light --> no comms-->??????


BTW do you have to reassign the joystick key every time you start TARS. My TARS forgets it??

it could be. TARS doesnt remember the setting when you start regular. Always start as admin if you want to change things in TARS. After you configure the thing you only need to start TS3 and DCS and things should work.

TARS just gets started by the game .. dont ask me how but it works

Hi I doublechecked: TS3, TARS. DSC A10C all as administrator.
When I tab out to TS and click on myself I see that TARS is not running.
On the other hand I see that my buddy has TARS running.
I reinstalled everything and the problem persist.
