Got my application in. Time to cram in some more practice to smooth out any rough spots. Keeping fingers crossed.

I could not find a good place to post this so I figured I would just throw it up here. It is weird seeing an a-10 mounted in an anechoic chamber for study.

Da FAC?
Looks like the room where they locked me in when I was a kid.

"I picked up iControl DCS for the ipad and it has made managing systems a lot faster for me. It's nice being able to click on a touchscreen instead of buttons with the mouse."
Holy crap this is the first time I've heard of this. This will give me a "real" reason to steal my wife's iPad. How cool.
I have been thinking about using it again just for CDU use. It is a real pain entering waypoints with the mouse.
Da FAC?
Do yourself a favour and map your keyboard directly to the CDU, without any modifiers.
You will be entering waypoints and all other data in the scratchpad in a fraction of the time.
Biggest timesaver ever in the A-10C.

I watched those too, I found this by surfing DCS-10C on Youtube, thanks Tyger.....
And one more that I was wondering if you guys do and would be great with a voice over, cause I'm still kind of sketchy on what he's doing exactly, I know he's lighting up a SAM, beaming it and making a markpoint, and taking note of the heading and then making offset entries, he does it twice, then makes a new flight plan and then finds the triangulation (only two waypoints) sets a SPI and then engages the SAM using forced correlation with the 65H. I'm still iffy on using the CDU, and need some help. I have read the manual (got a paper copy)... but could use some explanation of the finer details.
Cheers

Da FAC?
I'm starting to get sick
