Yeah, I know and it is disabled completely now. It wasn't on earlier installation ... maybe it's that ..
Maybe it's something to do with saved games ..
Maybe it's fact that I did not do the DCS install but rather copy paste and there are no registry entries ..
Beats me ... so far ... I'll see what exactly is the case when I get home and start working on it

Anyhow. I ended up reinstalling DCS from scratch, downgrading and "patching" it against all our required mods and some other
It works.
There is how ever one thing I noticed. TARS works! I no longer need to uncheck/check TARS plugin to get stereo separation of radios.
It seems something was left somewhere (I'm suspecting TARS or TS3 folder) over the time of upgrading TARS and TS3.
I wonder if this same thing is related to GUARD

Upgraded to TS 3.0.10.1, but having trouble getting TARS to run.
All the good stuff done...plug in etc. my TS recognises other users TARS running....but it will not run MY TARS.
It was all fine before upgrade. I have uninstalled both TS and TARS...and re installed both. Still no good.
Any pointers from anybody!
What's the situation with 'Run as Administrator'......do we still need to run both as Admin?.....as I am doing.
no need to run them both as admin. Only run tars as admin when you are changing settings. What you can do is uninstall everything and also remove the TARS files manual in your "saved games/DCS" folder.
I would say check your export.lua but i see thats not where it was anymore.

Removed TARS file from saved games. Uninstalled / re installed both TARS and TS....still the same.
TS recognises TARS, but just says it's not running.
What settings should i have in the TARS 'Network' / 'Net Settings'??
I have (by default) 'HOST 0.0.0.0' and 'PORT 48101'
is this correct, and ties in with what you guys have?
Do you have 64bit windows? If you do make sure you have 64 bit TS installed as well.
You don't need to touch the network settings for TARS.
Still trying to sort it out.

Having an absolute nightmare.....just cannot get TARS to run. 64bit TS installed and uninstalled so many times...also TARS.
any suggestions gratefully considered. Seems like it is something outside TARS and TS.....but cannot think what.
