Had the problem yesterday too. For some reason (after countless reinstalling and deinstalling ) it didnt worked. I then removed export.lua and let TARS make a new one and it worked. Later i heard from Nu I think that the new update adds a empty line which breaks everything. Tacview didnt worked either btw.
I got it sorted now.

I uninstalled via 'Windows Control Panel' (didn't understand how to, using TARS control panel at the time )....and then manually uninstalled TARS files from name/saved games.. etc. Installed new version....clicked TARS plug in and hey presto....all good ....
Game Not Found (TARS Installed)
Anybody found a solution to this one yet?
I have tried the uninstall and reinstall TARS. I have deleted the .lua files, the TARS.ini file and anything else I could find related to TARS and still no dice.
Da FAC?
Did you move your DCS install folder?
I believe TARS is looking in the windows registry for the correct path.
Just point manually to the correct path. Should all be good.

The only thing that has changed was the upgrade to 1.2.7. It does correctly identify the config path as "C:\Users\___\Saved Games\DCS" as the target. I'm thinking a fresh install of DCS may be needed to update the registry.
Hey all,
I'm having a bit of a tough time with TARS. So the other day I decided to check out the F-86 and as you know I had to update to 1.2.9 to use it. The DS is still in 1.2.8, so I reverted to the previous version and that where I have run into issues with TARS. Its basically not working. Here's what I have tried so far:
Uninstall TARS
Uninstall TS
Reinstall TS
Reinstall TARS
Still a no go, any suggestions?

When you are in-sim, ready to use TARS (and it's not working), have you tried to go in TS, disable the plug-in, and reenable it ?
I've had to do that for a while now, every time I am in-sim. I just assigned a hotkey to enable/disable the plugin.
