An update regarding my status

Hi everyone,

A short update regarding my status.
The first weeks have been a rocky ride for us. Not because Finn isn't healthy (he now weighs almost 5kg and is 57cm long already!), but he does have moderate discomfort from reflux.
Because this makes his food creep back up into his oesophagus with all kinds of acid fluids (like puking), this in turn irritates his oesophagus (gullet?, sorry for any translation issues!).
This results in pain. Its nothing really serious and he will likely grow over it in a few weeks, but for now it is what it is.

Lots of crying, us getting too little sleep and him on some light meds to make things as comfortable as we can.
Naturally this has taken its toll on my availability here.
I really miss a good flight on the DS, but realistically I must accept that it probably won't be for several weeks still.

Now that you guys are up to speed again (and can continue on that perfectly lined-up strafe run) I need to get back to diaper duty.

Good luck and my thought are with your little one. If you ever want a midday flight i do have early shift so we can figure something and if you need to bug out then it is no problem for me either

Ah, the griefs and joys of having children.
Time will come where all the hard times are nothing but a faint memory and you can cruise the virtual skies with us to the hum of the kid snoring in the room next door.

You can say alot of things about having children, but boring is definately not one of them.
