Love that video! I was amazed how fast that came out after the game....but i guess they had since halftime to make it cause it was already over.

Well is he?
I know this is an old post but do you guys remember LHX from EA back in 1990? I wish I could find the exact quote, but in the manual Brent Iverson wrote a little forward about all the research he did to put together one of the first helo sims for the PC. He goes into some of the basics of flight for a helicopter and then describes the helicopter's equivalent to a no engine landing, the autorotation maneuver. The last line in his introduction goes something like this...
"When I first started this project I was always fascinated to watch a helicopter fly, I would always stop what I was doing and admire their beauty. Now that I know more about them, especially their emergency no engine procedures, I'm frighten whenever one gets even close to flying overhead."
Funny stuff.
I remember hearing about at least one instance in the first Gulf War where a BEagle killed a helo with a GBU-10. From Wiki:
"An F-15E Strike Eagle fighter/bomber dropped a laser-guided bomb onto a helicopter in the air. The helicopter was on the ground initially loading up commandos, though it took off. Even with it taking off they left the laser on it and the bomb hit it when it was "200 or so" feet in the air. A special forces team on the ground witnessed the event."
After the war they (F-15Es) witnessed Mi-24s massacring refuges but could not "shot" them so they resorted to buzzing them until they were able to bring one down by simply buzzing it. After that incident the brass caught wind of it and they stopped them from doing it again.
Go Ugly, Early.
You lost me as soon as I read "wiki"
I've read that too, but no links that show actuality. I found a reference to it on the Aviationist: http://theaviationist.com/2012/02/10/f-15e-10000/
Though I did find this article that was "originally" published in 1992 and updated in 2010. http://www.ausairpower.net/TE-PGM-ODS-92.html ctrl+f "helicopter"

There you go, the whole story, the helicopter portion is the last part.
