I came across this link again recently. This is an oldie, but comically tragic. Three probably should have called "Blind"..........

Reaper (20Feb15)
I came across this thread randomly where apparently some ex-AF guys chat up a Sept. 2011 A-10 crash out of Moody.
http://www.flyingsquadron.com/forums...rash-at-moody/
It has sparse true details but quickly degenerates towards the end into a light hearted Viper-Hawg pissing match.
This is what happens when a Hawg tries to do a fix-to-fix.....Viper guys love hearing about a dual engine failure.....helps assuage their feelings of inadequacy. How does a Hawg guy even assess a "loss of thrust?" More birds flying by than usual? This is of course before someone starts talking about the disrespect someone showed towards the bros' in the Viper when he calls it a LGPOS, and further dick waving ensues about "solidarity" and whether such a concept is just a sensitive new age thing in the modern AF. This thread is acronym hell and I imagine I'd be far more entertained if I knew what any of them were. You can’t lose something you never had in the first place. That’s like asking how a Viper driver knows when he’s lost SA.
The AF article about the actual crash is no less entertaining, if less deliberately so.

Investigators found several incidents culminated in dual-engine failure and the aircraft's subsequent crash.
For one, the pilot was inexperienced at flying over 23,000 feet.
Sexual A-10 StartUp: These are f(*&ing hilarious.
