    Those r73 in combo with EOS are pretty deadly , i lately played around with the F15c FC3 (sssh dont tell Hammer...) And my opinion is that the AI sneaks up on you quite alot , No Rwr , no tones, nothing , just kabloom and you go down in spirals, but from that episode i learned one thing , stay nimble, agile and fast . Testing Fc3 a bit made me think and feel more like my opponent . And gave me more insight in how they operate.. It never hurts to test a different airframe , it might even make you a better a10 jockey!

    Sidenote: But i still like the a10 better.

    True, but they say they were detecting them to up to 50miles, which is quite a range for a passive sensor

    Who says you have to get close?

    Modern IRST systems are pretty damn effective, in clear air at high altitude. Although to be fair, the Raptor still has the advantage, as it should.
