Hi guys. I recently left the 74th VFS and after a couple of weeks of withdrawal I am now looking to join a new squadron.
I like the way you guys follow real world SOP's and seem to have lots of active members. I'm based in the UK and like to fly fairly often. I know you guys have a pretty long waiting list and I've just missed the current recruitment window but I hope that if I hang around I might make some new flying buddies and maybe become a member of the squad one day.
I consider myself combat proficient in the A10-C with many hours in the pit. I can ramp start, navigate, perform instrument landings using TACAN and ILS, employ guided and unguided weapons and missiles, employ countermeasures, fly formation, interpret bullseye calls, operate radios using TARS and input coordinates into the CDU.
I fly with a TM warthog hotas, Track IR, saitek combat rudder pedals and TM cougar MFD's on a second monitor.
Hope to get up in the air with you guys soon.
Howie
