GTX 760 on 15 amp breaker

Was just about to purchase a new GTX 760 and 500W power supply when I saw that there is a 30 amp requirement for this card. Is anyone running a GTX 760 on a 15 amp breaker? I'm not going to upgrade my breaker and wiring in the walls for a video card...I'll have to step down to a GTX 660 or GTX 660 Ti if that is the case.

My 550 Ti calls for 24 amps by the spec but I don't have any trouble with power.

It's all supplied by the PSU in your PC, that is the limitation on the components in your PC. The 30aml requirement is referring to the need for the PSU to have the ability to supply that load, not the mains.

It has nothing to do with the mains supply. If it was we'd have an issue in the UK where the max draw on a single socket is 13 amps.
