This morning when I went for my daily AAR training I was kind of surprised seeing AWACS behind the tanker. I thought "That's nice Easter Egg" in this A-10 simulator
As I was approaching the AAR Formation I noticed something was not right; AWACS was not connected to the boom and was just following the tanker. Again, one of the simulator bugs.
Since I was short on fuel I decided to divert (RTB Senaki). I stayed on FL 180 in case I had to do "gliding" landing... fortunately I had sufficient fuel to land safely at home base. While taxiing to the staging area for refuelling the Dedicated Server.
It seems the same problem I experienced yesterday while on line with Nu-NRG and Smurf. I was refuelling at Perseus and at the same moment Nu-NRG relocated the tanker to the Mercury. Relocation was acknowledged by the tanker but once I aborted the refuelling the boom stayed lowered and the tanker flew its Perseus track.
Did you guys had similar problem during last light training mission?
