    Slow and buffering

Whenever I go into in-game missions my system slows down and buffers a little. Can anyone suggest something I can do to make that not happen?

Ski, that's a bit vague to go on. The "performance" discussions on the ED forums is hundreds of pages on the topic, just to give you an idea of how many different things can hinder and help performance.

Are you talking slow frame rates and stuttering while in the cockpit? What are your system specs and sim graphics settings?

Thanks for the reply Joyride. I was in teamspeak with Ashy and Spokejocky and they helped me out a lot to better understand my system. I'm running the dcs SIM on my laptop and my graphics card is standard at best. Bottom line is I'm going to need to build myself a desktop system to overcome my obstacles. In the meantime, I'll keep flying and blowing shtuff as best I can.

Yup, I started on a rather souped up laptop back in the A-10 beta days. When I finally built a system just for DCS it was AWESOME. Night and day running the sim on a proper system, a totally different experience!

Ski, there is no doubt that you need a purpose built gaming PC to run DCS like it should be, it's a graphic's "Hawg" for sure.
Did you get a chance to watch some of the DCS tutorial video's on Youtube? Tons of great info and instruction there by many
    pilots.
