    CDU made easy.

    Some - maybe most - of you may already know about this trick but I was way too dumb to figure it out until like months later. I got tired of manually clicking every single key on the CDU as it was way too slow to keep up with the JTAC, so I figured out you can bind the keyboard to it, with the help of a modifier so you don't lose control of the aircraft.

    Screw the modifiers. Just remap the key assignments so the keyboard is the CDU keypad. Then remap the few controls you actually need to HOTAS/Keyboard using modifiers.

    Apart from views and AI radio comms my keyboard is used for CDU keyboard functions, and that's it. Everything else is either HOTAS or mouse in the cockpit.

    Yup, same here. CDU/UFC directly mapped to the keyboard.
    Modifier only used for a few options.

    Providing CAS when you're all out of HUA!

    Using default left CTRL and WIN key pair that with scripting possible in G15 and you are golden.

    Eddie inspired me to spend the last two hours building a new TM Warhog profile that puts a few more functions on modifier keys and has quick curve-switching for aggressive flight, formation flight, and air refueling. Haven't tested my air refueling curve because 1) I'm inept, and 2) The tanker was bugged and wouldn't acknowledge precontact. Still, makes for very relaxed flying...
