    CCIP bombing training

Today I started practicing with CCIP bombing. I set up a mission and weapons profile settings per Noodles post, found here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?...&postcount=103

    82 30DB2
    RIP SGL | Q:2, 75 ft
    DTOF 6.7
    SEM: CLM, MIN ALT: 1.000

In the mission I set up waypoints for reference as advised by Noodle.

I attached the track, TacView ACMI and mission in a zipfile below. This is my first try at it.

I don't know if this is allowed but if it's possible I would like it if you guys could give your opinion on this run. Otherwise just enjoy.

P.S. I set unlimited weapons so I could repeat the attack run multiple times.

I'll take a look later and give done feedback.

But, no need for infinite weapons. Use train mode etc correctly and you can do
as many deliveries as you like.

    Especially when combined with BDU-33s.

Thanks Eddie that would be great!

I'll look into training mode. Is such stuff to be found in the manual?

Just a couple of points from watching the acmi.

Overall pretty good, you've certainly got the right idea. Watch the G loading, both on the tip in and during the safe escape. Aim for 3G for the tip in and 4G for the SEM, and for the climbing SEM your FPM needs to pass through the 30 degree climb angle.

On tip in you rolled over a bit too much a couple of times, aim for 80 degrees + desired dive angle.

I'll add some more remarks later when I get chance to view the track.

Thanks for the remarks Eddie. I noticed the G loading bit too in the ACMI. I think I got a basic 'feel' of the procedure now, but hitting those parameters proves to be a lot more difficult. I tried it again today with a lot of frutration in the process.

BTW, I read an article on SimHQ, where Andy Bush (the former A-10 pilot) advised on using the top of the HUD as the initial AOP. What are your thoughts on that?

    Thanks again Eddie appreciate it.

EDIT: was referencing to this article: http://www.simhq.com/_air/air_101d.html, but made a mistake. He talks about initial aiming reference, not AOP.
