Announcing Class 14-07

On behalf of the 476th vFighter Group Command Staff I'd like to extend a warm welcome and congratulations to Class 14-07 of the 476th vFG, 74th vTraining Squadron 'Flying Tigers'.

We have two classes 14-07A and 14-07B for the US and Euro time zones respectively.

Although we announced, and intended, that we'd take 2 trainees for the US timezone class the standard of applications was so high that the US IPs and Command Staff simply couldn't say no to any of those who applied. Therefore it has been decided that this time around there will be two US time zone classes.

I'm sure I'm not alone in this feeling, but it's truly an honor, and I mean that seriously.

My girlfriend has been making fun of me for a week because I wouldn't stop talking about it, but as she fully supports me, she had also planned to kill LilReb and Reb to improve my chances if I gave the word. I'm so thrilled we won't have to pay for defense lawyers now!

Jokes aside, really ecstatic guys, and I will repay the honor with my dedication.

Well, I just read my messages and I can't agree more Wrench, except for the girlfriend part, and I'm sure I can speak for my brother as well, we are very excited and feel very privileged indeed to now be affiliated with the 476th. Can't wait to meet the rest of the group and get started.

THANK YOU! I think my brother, Lil Reb, and Wrench pretty much covered my feelings.
I reported to the Major, my wife, that I had been accepted into the 476th. She said it was about
time that I joined a good outfit, the Air Force ( I was Navy Air). She was a Major, nurse, with the
128th FS (F-15), 116th FW.
