Still getting use to it, but it's significantly better than using the mouse.
Not the best video, just a quickie.

OK, after getting crap (appropriately) from Eddie for vertical video, I re-recorded my pit. In my defense, I work in RADIO at the 476th, not video

Pit envy...
Link's dead..
Hmm, YouTube moved it. I'm sure it's because of something I did, but try again and let me know.
Nice vid and nice pit.
You should really wrap that cable spaghetti together though[emoji6]
By the way, here are some pics of the curved screen I mentioned. I've been e-mailing with the CEO of this company, good guy. They sale some high end stuff that's like upwards of $50K (motion, etc) so obviously none of us are interested in that.
But for the lower end stuff:
I'd much rather save and buy the following:

Curved1.jpg
curved2.jpg
Notes:
1. The pic that shows the cockpit chair, he says that chair itself is $600. That's less than half what I paid for my revolution, although I did buy all the bells and whistles.
2. More projectors you have (1-4), the higher the viewing perspective. See below. He claimed with 4 you get 360 degrees, but I'm not sure how that makes sense given the screen design. The image you're seeing is being done with 2 projectors.
3. You can start with 1 projector, and order additional projectors later.
Screen with one projector is about $1900. I know, it's not cheap. But it's not crazy given what you're getting. Most of our PCs cost more than that originally. No? You will have a display significantly longer than you have your PC. My two side displays you see there are 11 years old now.
Resolutions: you get additional horizontal res per projector. So:
1 Projector: 1920x1080 (110 degree FOV)
2 projectors: 3840x1080 (180 degree FOV)
etc

I see a TITAN HD in the background, is this the same Kiwi that did that? Because that is an impressive system.
I would be very interested in a system like this, I was very heavily involved in the development of the Surround View Flight simulator seen here: http://www.flyaces.com/
Which is actually powered by one, albeit a super hugely expensive $30k experimental, projector. It is amazing flying around without a TrackIR lol
Keep us posted if you get a group discount

Yes, it's the NZ based Simpit. The Titan HD is $70K though, so... um. It should be impressive
