Blah trac ir doesn't work plus they don't support VR. Elite dangerous does and has much more going on now than star citizen. I can't believe I wasted close to 100 dollars on sc when it first came out to public.

Sounds like you're not familiar with SC. SC isn't a released game, Elite Dangerous is. It will support VR, and has explicitly said so for the last ~2 years. Oculus used to work in the initial Alpha, but was explicitly deactivated while they re-work it. This is also true of TrackIR, which literally worked right up until the Alpha 2.0 released two weeks ago, when like Oculus, it was explicitly deactivated while they re-work the implementation.
It's also strange to me when people compare ED and SC... the only thing they have in common is they're both called "space sims". The feature list of SC is exponentially larger than ED. That's not a criticism of ED, ED is just a far less ambitious title.
Got my self one of those game packages only 400 left now. Won't have time to try for a while though, but I played all of the wing commanders games and I absolutely loved them and the little I have seen so far about SC is mind blowing
I'm a No Man's Sky fan myself lol
I started to make a smart ass remark about the Embraer.. but this is the public forum... AND I just got Stuka to remove the text from my page
Very cool demonstration and update of the planet landing tech, to be available by the end of the year:
Note, the source video is of their entire Gamescon address last week, but the timestamp I included will jump you to just before they land on a planet. Once he's on a station, and walking around, the detail is insane.
