Theoretically we could make a program for every type of weapon/unit but we're limited to 25 programs. (Alphabet minus one for missiles lacking a corresponding RWR threat)

We're assuming it would be possible to have any weapon/unit activate a CMS program though.
It may only be possible to have certain radars activate CMS profiles.
I have no idea how the logic works. Requires a lot of testing to see what is possible. Also, make no mention of this on the ED forums lest they remove the functionality for fear of breaking 'contractual agreements' (they disabled the AGM-65E hack for this reason).

Based on the changes I made to the CMSC_param.LUA I will test it using an immortal A-10C and several different SAMs and their RADARs to see if it automatically switches programs in semi-auto mode.

JayPee - can you remove Kub_STR_9S91 from the lua and add Kub_LN_2P25 instead?
I want to see if the actual LAUNCH of the missile can trigger a CMS program.
Then I can get back to building my rocket suit.
Will take a look at it tonight if I make it and otherwise this weekend.
I just had a brain wave... (they don't come often)
Get rid of everything under 'ChaffFlaresProgramsForRadars' and what do you have?
Manual CMS programs in auto mode... With automatic ECM... I think.
Yes and then every threat will trigger the program for missiles without a corresponding RWR threat because you haven't mapped the threat to a certain program.. And by the way, more and more do I start to think their really isn't a program for an incoming missile without a known active threat. DCS just picks the first program down the Alphabet which isn't mapped to anything.
DCS doesn't 'know' which program it has to select depending on the threat. You will have to tell it which program it has to select.. This is basically the threat library you will be removing by doing what you suggest.
