Ya that pit was built when I was a single guy. Now I'm married I'm not in charge of money any more.

These extensions, are they twisted 15 deg. CCW so you can put the stick between your legs?

Yes they are or it would be very difficult to use center mounted

I was placing my hand where I'd have the stick then but even 15 deg. doesn't seem a lot..

With any extensions I've seen, including the one I use you can make the offset whatever you like. You are just screwing the stick top onto a bit of threaded pipe at the end of the day and using a PS2 cable to connect the stick top and base.

I went ahead and got intouch with that guy selling the machined aluminum extension with extension cable, and he is shipping me one on Monday. You guys convinced me.

I ordered warthog extension as well If anyone would be interested too, I ordered it from guy named wasyl00 on ED forums. This is the thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=121242 and the website https://sites.google.com/site/warthogextension/. A lot of positive opinions there about extension quality. Ordering went very smooth, just after payment I received confirmation email with shipment date included (Monday in my case).

That's the one I have as well, although I got mine on eBay from someone selling one that they'd bought but never used. Mine is the 80mm extension and it works very well indeed. I can certainly vouch for the quality, it's just one solid piece of machined steel exactly as it's advertised.

Great to hear confirmation about the quality. By the way, what is your offset setting Eddie?

I honestly don't know what it is in degrees. I just attached the stick to the extension loosely and then rested my arm where it normally sits while flying and then set the stick to the angle my hand naturally sits and then tightened it up.
