I don't know who this BlueRidge guy is, but he sure sounds handsome, rich, and successful.
Anywho, it looks like you figured it out, TRN is a loaded roll to a nose-low slicing turn, while TLT is pull to the horizon with an unloaded roll to a level (or slightly climbing) turn. MRS and MRC are still bugged, so even when you're doing it right you're going to see spurious abort cues.
Also, I invite you to rewatch the Range Objects video. I don't see my TVV anywhere near 5 degrees during my apparently epic TLT. You sure you're watching this one?
