Last night I tried setting the KY-58 on my own. But the only response I got was a buzzing and beeping sound. Does it has to be a `number two on the line` for it to properly work? I surely think I did set it properly, and tried different channels but I never got rid of that disturbing sound.
Any one else had this problem or might know what the cause is?
to clear that first initial buzz sound press mic switch down i believe in plain mode. then put it to crad1 or 2 and then you should be encrypted. you should get a com sec beep on aft then ensuring you are on encrypted. Im just going off memory. but i think thats the order of how its done.

Did you follow the procedures in the A-10C aircrew checklist? Doesn't sound like it.
My A-10C doc says the KY-58 is non-functional? I think I have the latest docs... (1.5)...

In the base sim, it is indeed, non-functional.
However with Team Speak radio plugins such as UniversRadio and Aries, the KY-58 is added and functional.
