    Howdy Gents

    Hello all,

Just wanted to stop in and say hello. The data you have available here is outstanding and thank you for that. I am looking forward to the recruiting opening up again as I plan to submit a application. Are there any "open to the public" times for flying or other types? Either way I will be paying close attention and checking in often.

    Frodo

    Hey Frodo.
    Welcome over here.
Do we know each other from back in time? There was a Frodo in my previous squad.

We do not have "public flying days", so you'll be in other skies for the time being

Providing CAS when you're all out of HUA!

Thanks for all the welcomes. I have been looking at the forums I have access too and it seems that you only have recruitment 2 times a year. Is this the current limit for 2015? How are notifications sent out when the recruiting is opened? Are there any of you that stream any of the ops or trainings done here in the 476th? Hope all is well with everyone and stay safe up there.

Recruitment is based on IPs availability as well as only one class occurs at a time. Theoretically a class could be completed sooner but it's all based on IP/Training Pilots availability and the skill of the Training Pilots.

A few members stream on twitch (here) and then we've got our official Youtube channel (here) or members youtube channels (Snoopy, Eddie, Recon)

Good info, thank you Snoppy. I will keep an eye on the forums and tune into the Twitch streams often. Can't wait to get a shot at this.

Hello again gentlemen. Just wanted to stop in and see how everyone is doing. Congrats to those that passed IQT. I can only imagine the stress during those weeks of training and I am actually looking forward to it. Anyone have any suggestions on things to work on while I am waiting for the recruiting to open up??

Download the documents available to the public and find somebody sharing the same enthusiasm to train with as per the docs. The parts most 'new' to me when I joined were formation flying and instrument procedures according to the charts. Most, if not all, public MP pilots never pay any attention towards these subjects.
