    AH-64E Sat in the Pit

got to sit in the bird this morning. Bad ass bird. Also got to see her all opened up for maintenance pretty modular and kind of blows my mind seeing all those systems in person. no pics but was cool. Be over their again to see her fired up off Apu and such

    Cool!

Did you take pictures of the pits, preferably with active MFCDs? Does the gunner's pit have a fourth screen/module to the left of the left MFCD for control of UAVs? Did you also get to put on the helmet with the HMD active?

Ya can't take pics nor comment on certain things. I will see the bird up with all systems and comment on what I can.

Even if were not talking about the 160th, think OPSEC. Those are some mighty specific questions.

As I already stated I will not be disclosing any of that info. It's one of those if you want to know put a packet in and be a pilot to find out scenarios. Will say it's an awesome bird and quite the upgrade from the D model.

Nice Crom. Always fun seeing the new toys. If you get a chance, have them take you up for a few passes over Groom Lake.
