So far im liking it. If I take the plunge on my cockpit computer, do I need to be worried about configuring anything DCS wise if im only upgrading not doing a fresh install? Also, I like to format and fresh install my computers from time to time, if im doing this digital upgrade, any thoughts on how id be able to accomplish this in the future?

The only thing I had to do was update my video card software, I'm running and R9 and AMD had their Windows 10 Catalyst suite ready and waiting for 10 users. As far as a fresh install of 10 later on, I have thought about that as well.

Took the plunge.
No fresh install of 8(.1) or anything like that. Straight update form 7 to 10.
Boy, am I surprised to see everything work. all software (Lotact included Coolhand), all hardware (Lilliputs),...

Pretty sure something will come up the next few days, but the majority is just fine.

Just had the problem installing aries on win 10 x64.

Setup always threw at me

the application was unable to start correctly 0xc00007b

After about 30 minutes I managed to fix it.

Had to install http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl....aspx?id=14632 !

If anyone has same problem ... well, this worked for me!

Also a word of caution. Do not install Aries with MSI package. ALWAYS install via SETUP.EXE.

Not doing so will get you a nicely messed up installation WITHOUT initial setup window (where it asks you where TS / DCS is).

Also despite disabled UAC and when setup is not run as Administrator it will not automatically detect TS folder, hence again broken installation!!
