And yes, it's awesome. Thinner than I imagined, but I can't close my mouth.

Hmm they still cost 750 EUR over here. Eddie and Dojo, what frame rate do you get and what GPU do you have?

Indeed, I'd watched this, as well as review a number of other sources that corroborate the results here, which led to the easy decision of the 6700K.
In this particular vid, he mentions overclocking a 5820K to match the 4Ghz of a Skylake, although the Skylake retains a superior IPC performance. What he doesn't mention, is that it's super easy to overclock a Skylake to 4.8Ghz (there's a lot of folks who've achieved 5.2, but I have no desire to push upper limits.)
For gaming, which is what this PC is used for, the 6700K is definitely the right choice at this time. Unless you're going quad SLI, which then you should be buying a 5930K, or 60X... and I'm definitely not interested in SLI above 2x.
Btw, ended up getting the 6700K yesterday for $320 at Microcenter, although I went there to get a new router. Whereas Amazon had actually gone up to $410 two days ago, although now they're down to $365 (it was $349, and yes, all 3 searches were Prime results... fluctuating demand I suppose).
Still won't assemble though until I get my 950 Pro. Looks like Samsung is referring to October release the way ED does.
