Potentially a permission issue? Wondering if the config file is write protected and won't allow the changes to save elsewhere.

Try running Tacview as admin and see if that works - Easy test at least!

Nope, running Tacview as admin and setting the folder again doesn't work.

Fixed it, running Tacview as admin didn't work, but taking ownership of the entire Program Files folder and every sub-folder within did the trick somehow.

Since the 2.0.4.59188 update I have this error in my DCS log file and no Tacview recordings happening. Anyone got any ideas?

Energy, thanks. That odd forward slash is apparently correct but I thought that might be the problem as well.

The new 1.5.2 TacviewExportDCS.lua linked here via the thread you linked to

    https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php...&postcount=309

    fixed the problem

Hey folks, need to conduct some server side load testing with the new Tacview. Essentially, I need 10-ish of you jumping on a DS in hot start jets, and shooting at each other. I need two tests (one with tacview on, one without), each lasting less than 10 minutes or so. This will provide a good sense of the performance implications of Tacview. Let me know if/when available. If not this week, early Saturday works well for me.

    Thanks!

As an aside, the new real time viewing and remote control options are pretty awesome, and should lead to some really interesting analysis during sorties.

Seeing current participation levels I think the best way of doing this is either before a US or EU flight night. Typically we have around 6 people showing for the average EU flight night. Don't know about US nights in detail but I guess that's your best shot.

Rog... I'll try to coordinate before an EU flight night

So personally I wouldn't do it before a flight night. My focus on flight nights before the sortie is on what we're scheduled to fly.

I'm sure we could get 10 people to test if something was scheduled.

Number wise we're averaging 6 most 76th flight nights same as the 81st.
