    Power supply

So my computer worked fine all day yesterday. I shut it down and come back a couple hours later and no power. Nothing. I tried the paper clip trick and still no response from the PS.

Does anyone have any recommendations on trouble shooting or what power supply to get? The bricked one is a Corsair 850W...i dont think my system needs anythink more than that for a new one but maybe that would help?

I'd recommend the Superflower range, especially the platinum branded. Excellent PSUs.

Yeah, but not that you'd be ordering from across the pond.

If you can't find them, go for an EVGA branded PSU. They are all essentially rebranded superflower PSUs with an EVGA warranty (up to 10 years here).

Whats a good size PSU...i had an 850 should I step up higher?
I have a 980ti 3 SSDs 1HDD and not a lot else. 3770k processor. I feel like 850 is more than enough without SLI but Im not sure

Go for the highest capacity you can. Higher capacity PSUs will run more efficiently at lower loads than lower capacity models, and running a PSU at lower than its capacity tends to increase life as well.

Also, make sure you go for a modular PSU.
