5 Escadre Virtuelle du Canada (5EVC) - Introduction

    Hi all,

My name is Jonathan C/S Nimitz, from the 5e Escadre Virtuelle du Canada (5EVC)

I wanted to introduce myself and our squadron in order to invite you to our joint exercise/training/OP.

We are a small group of experienced A10c, HUEY, and Fast jet pilots from Quebec, Canada. Our Wing focus on realism and immersion. Our staff are used to work in both French and English language.

We often participate to major joint event hosted by our friends at 132th Virtual Wing and we also host some joint EX with other external organizations like the 3rd Wing.

Both our website and forum are still in development but we invite you to subscribe there:

This being said, we will host tonight a fighter OPs training flight aimed on the following key points:

    Readiness Posture Immediate (RPI)
Mission flow with a Weapon Director (WD)
    Quick Reaction Alert (QRA)

If you are interested in joining our tonight's training flight, simply contact me at: 5evc.nimitz@gmail.com

    Cheers guys

Hello Nimitz and you are very welcome here!

Interoperating with other squadrons is something that interests us very much. At the moment, we are in the midst of fleshing out our procedures to do this, including our future hopes to invite other groups to participate with us as well. As you have no doubt seen us visiting with the 132nd, we are focused on training with them and in doing so we hope to establish a framework to fly with other groups, such as yours.

At the moment, given the number of things we have in the air, I suspect we won't be able to participate in your trainings, but please keep us in your thoughts as we may in the future!
