If you're not TALLY the BANDIT, execute a guns jink every 3 to 5 seconds by unloading then rolling 80 to 90 degrees out-of-plane before getting back on the Gs. Look for the BANDIT where he'd be if he were flying perfect BFM, i.e, at your high six o'clock in the control zone.

If you're even close to his IR missile WEZ, make sure you're putting out flares. For BANDITs more advanced than the FISHBED, this includes both the high-aspect face shot prior to the merge, as well as the HOBS ARCHER shot from across the turn circle. An accurate CMDS would really help here, but we're on our own with that.
