    Ok, I found a workaround:

Everytime you fly in MP, a track gets saved by default by DCS. So you can fly without Tacview and THEN after the flight, watch the track with tacview enabled and you'll get the same file as you would with tacivew on the flight. The only downside is that you'll have to replay the whole thing again. However, you can speed up the thing and for a 2 hour flight you'd have to wait like 20 min to generate the tacview file!

EDIT: I compared the .acmi form the last flight night vs the track of the FN and its the same thing. That is a 2.5 hr flight watched in less that 10 min (time x12).

Except the track file hardly ever is a exact replay of what actually happened.

And that increase in FPS makes a big difference. Plus we can always make the guys with better PC do the recording XD
Human eye is incapable of registering more than 60hz.

You will never fly better without proper planning and debrief!
Maybe you ment fly the nice scenery at no stuttering?

Kimi's and Dojo's post made me think.

Is the actual question we should ask our self sweet graphics vs proper flying and debriefs?

To me that is clear, hence tacview running and some settings decreased
Almost to the point of no stutters over vegas inbound KLSV

That's not so simple. On my side, from the first version of 1.5 Beta / 2.0 Alpha anything less than 60 FPS means a shit load of stutters. Except for the situations where I am at 15000 and its not really noticeable, when I am down low (most of the time in A10) it is really distracting and annoying (probably event more on a big screen), to the point that some times I just would like to land already or be up high again.

Don't get me wrong - proper flying and debriefs was, is a and always will be the most important aspect - otherwise why even am I here?
But unfortunately in the current situation, when I may have smooth play without tacivew I will take this over enabling TacView and having such a bad experience that it takes out all the fun of flying in the first place.

Do I need 60 FPS? Definitely not! Heaving 30 FPS but smooth would be more than enough - unfortunately that is not the case for me.

Having said that, I will keep looking for the solution to the problems I have when below 60FPS. Until I find it or it resolves auto-magically with the next version of the DCS I will just ask during the briefing if another person is running a tacview, if no I will enable it on my side.

I run the game at the same settings tacview or not, so its not actually better graphics. 30 fps vs 60fps is a big difference.
I compared the tacviews side by side and it was the same thing, to the numbers.
In addition, i dont think tacview is needed for planning.
And "proper flying" in my book means: flying without stutters (not talking about tactics here, im talking about the experience)
Im sorry guys but its a no brainer for me.
