Great videos RAT! I used to fly with a guy who flew Chinooks for the 160th SOAR over here. The Chinook is a pretty amazing bird from what I gathered from all his stories of flying it and that video really reinforces it. Being able to put the ramp of that beast on the edge of a rooftop to pick up a special operations team must have been crazy! I wish they had done the apache instead of the Ka-50 but the whole two seat concept was probably a bit daunting. It worked fine in Longbow 2 all those years ago. From what I've watched we are like this in the 50:
Maybe the next fastmover....(SuperHornet)

Is the F18 the new fast mover??
A quick clip of the display jet from the Squadron I now work on at the RAF Waddington airshow.
Nobody outside of ED/TFC knows. I don't anticipate the testers finding out until at least late this year.
Basically as soon as they have something for us to work with they'll tell us, and the public announcements tend to happen anything from a couple of hours to several months after they tell us. Once all the current projects have been released (World, P-51, A-10C & Ka-50 patches, Combined Arms and then FC3) we'll hopefully move on to Nevada and after that DCS:Next will hopefully be heading our way. To give you an idea on time scales, the testers had A-10C in pre-alpha/alpha/closed beta for at least 4 months prior to the release of the public betas, so even when we get it don't assume a release will happen any time soon.
Couple of mine from a few years ago.
Another Typhoon clip and some great footage of the ground crew
