The real shame will be watching super tucanos and Texan IIs doing CAS and COIN missions....blech! The world just wants us to have cool tools in our military right??? They don't really want the united states to be fiscally responsible!

They are working on the A-10PCAS for DARPA. An "optionally" manned variant. The Persistent Close Air Support program would give JTAC's the ability to designate targets and select the munitions on the unmanned a-10PCAS. Though it may just be demonstration platform to be implemented on other air frames.
