Yes. Gaming headsets are essentially just a gimmick. Spend the same money on normal headphones and a mic and what you end up with will be better for sound quality, and in almost all cases comfort as well.

Just wait until they've bedded in a bit. There are better headphone out there (Sennheiser HD650s for example), but for the price point they are outstanding.

So much more comfortable that 'gaming' headsets as well.

Currently trying to fit the TIR clip to it but the little locking lever keeps unlocking, most likely because the cushion inside the clip has set to my previous headset. I'll have to get back to it, can't use the K612 for gaming anyway until the mic arrives (which it should in 4 days).

Take a look at the Delan Clip if you're having trouble fixing it on. They're infinitely more durable too.
