Cartridger: generate your own custom cartridge

    https://gliptal.github.io/cartridger/

I realized a while ago that having a custom set of TAD, IFFCC, MFCDs, and CMSC options helped me a lot with learning and feeling comfortable with those systems. As such, I coded this simple webapp to generate the required files.

Those of you who roam ED's official forums may already be aware of it. Still, I'm sharing it here as well in the hopes it might help someone.

If you have any feedback let me know in this thread or back at ED: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=170862

    Seen it

Here in 476th, these things, along with radio are all preset in a mission design. CMS is defined as mod of ours

Gliptal, Thanks for posting. It certainly is a good tool. As Energy said on the main server we have those things pre-set as part of the mission design, but your tool is really useful for replicating the settings you want offline.

I was thinking about this a bit over the past few days, I still haven't had chance to play around with it, which files/settings can it tweak?

I'm wondering if it might be nice to remove the setting configureable by this tool from mission config and allow each pilot to set things up themselves?

You can set the CMSC countermeasures programs, the MFCDs quick links, the TAD presets names and configurations, and the IFFCC AAS entries.

They're all separate files, so if you want to e.g. use your own MFCDs and TAD settings with the 476th CMSC and IFFCC settings, you'd just include only the former .lua configs. Point is, configurations specified by the mission override any custom file, so currently the DS doesn't allow for any of these to be used.

What I currently have in JSGME is the 476th IFFCC AAS and CMSC settings, and my MFCDs and TAD settings. Both though are tramped by the DS' mission configuration.

    Could be beneficial.
Can the program be extended to include load/save/templates/.... and such?

For the IFFCC: how about having a list of all the airframes in DCS that we can pick to populate "our" config. Names, wingspan, length and speed are fixed values, so no need to configure that every time.

Providing CAS when you're all out of HUA!

I can extend to include anything that involves a configuration file, I just need to know where the file is and how it's editable.

Can do, I'd just need the data.

Gliptal, do you know if there's a way to locally pre-set the HUD showing 2049 Bullseye as the anchor point when the server's not pushing that setting?

I was wondering that myself, 1.5 seems to not have it. I'll take a look.

I'm on TS and we've just tried it but it doesn't work unfortunately. If the server pushes it, it creates a .LUA file in the .MIZ that includes the option. However, aside from the file there is no other file in your local installation that allows for toggling show anchor ON/OFF. In short: if it isn't pushed by the server, you'll have to manually enable it.
