    Power of the DCS A-10C

I've now flown the OBORA ONE departure 10+ times using the "new" 750 ITT setting after accelerating to max to achieve 200. I can not achieve FL160 before I reach OBORA. At best, I've gotten 15800, and I suspect it shouldn't be that close. (i.e. I should easily be able to achieve 160 or higher before OBORA.

I suspect, though I have no way of really knowing, that the DCS A-10C is under powered versus the real thing. Regardless, I think the power settings for Instrument Trail Departure need to be re-evaluated. Of course, feel free to check for yourself. Zero experienced the same today.

    My configuration: Training Munitions, including 1 winder, 6 BDU33s, and 1AGM 65K and G.

I'm using the IQT02 eval mission that was used for our checkrides.

Mission is in the Copy folder Eddie. I'm going to check it out tonight when I get home.

Just tried the IQT2 mission with the same loadout as Dojo (1 CATM-9, 6 BDU3-3s, CATM-65K and TGM-65G.) and made it with time to spare to over 16,000.

Video is on my twitch (still can't figure out why OBS is dropping frames) and I attached my track and tacview file.

Reviewing now. It'll be good to know if I'm doing something wrong.

OK, doing the exact same thing. But I did notice on yours that the wind is 300 for 004, where mine is 055 for 012, and that's likely the problem.

I have no clue how I ended up with a different version, since I'm using the mission derived from the checkride, but I'll extract the one from your track and try again with that.

Some how the mission you have got changed then. I noticed when you streamed earlier you got an RWR indication, that alone tells me something changed from what we flew during your class.

I've attached the IQT2 mission we flew during your class.

OK... going to re-try the recording again tomorrow with that miz, though I'm confident that's our problem.

Having just flown it and coming close to not making it it seems clear that with any kind of tail wind you could have issues making the parameters, such as when you have strong winds out of the East.
