Since the Range Targets/Objects is a proper module with an icon and version number visible on the DCSW main screen I'd say we need we background for it as well. Preferably with a huge 476th logo on it (and perhaps Noodle's nickname, since we're spreading it via the ED boards too ).

I've always wanted an MC-130 in DCS.

So I spent Easter Sunday in Max laying the foundation for exactly that. The tentative plan is to do the MC-130J Commando II first, then the MC-130H Combat Talon II. The models will be for AI and static use. I have dreams of DCS airfield seizures, FARPs, and MOABs...

Anyway, a few very early WIP renders. There are obvious errors and omissions, so don't lose your minds. The pics show everything from FS 93 (the forward cockpit pressure bulkhead) aft to FS 737 (the aft edge of the cargo floor).

I may be biased but an MC-130J is all that we need. Talons have that ugly oversized nose...

WTF Noodle, where are the LAIRCM provisions, APU door, etc. /sarcasm
Will happily buy DCS:MC-130 long before I buy DCS:Tom Cruise err F-14

I love the T2 precisely because it has so much stuff hanging off of it, giant radome included! Never much cared for the Shadow with the (I assume) SATCOM dome, and the old Fulton nose. But I'm doing the J first just for you.

Noodle, since you seem to be back in your modeling seat again, where's that long ALQ-184? It still makes me doubt my manhood flying with a short one.
