"Lilliput UM80T 8" USB Monitor USB-powered mini Touch Screen Monitor

    - Mini monitor runs completely off of USB, an extra display whenever and wherever you need it
    - No extra power needed, the mini monitor is powered by two USB ports
    - No extra video card nor VGA port required: the Lilliput USB display has a built in video card that runs over any USB 2.0 connection"

Stuka you just solved my issue how to run 4 monitors out of my 2 port GTX580... looks like I won't need the card at all with the Lilliput.. Nice find..

Roto could you post a pic of your config for reference..

Hey Guys, just come across a couple of spare ££££'s (Birthday) and re-visiting this topic. Always thought the MFD Cougar pack was a good idea (especially with the 8" monitors behind) and to be honest was sold on the idea back when I originally posted this thread. The difference now is, I've moved from my old laptop onto a new rig and using a single 27" monitor. So basically I'm asking, is there any point buying the Cougar pack if using a large monitor? Any ideas anybody

They are fantastic used on their own without screens.

I use mine without any screens and always have, and they make it much easier to work through MFCD menus. Combined with having the CDU/UFC key mapped to the keyboard without modifiers it speeds up cockpit operations no end.

Of course with screens as well they may be even more powerful, but make no mistake, they are an excellent addition in their own right.

Cheers Guys, just had a look at ED Forums here and I'm not sure if the Lilliput monitors work with Windows 7 64Bit. Anybody had any dealings with them?? Stuka????

I'm running a main 27" monitor and another smaller monitor on the left of my main display (by extending the desktop). Is it possible to run this additional monitor with an additional two lilliput's also? Also I take it you'll need 3 spare USB ports per display? One for MFD and two for lilliput monitor?

I've got to main monitors as well.
The 2 USB monitors work fine with that.

I only use 1 USB connector for the monitors, although they come with those cables that have a dual plug).
As long you are plugging them straight in your pc, and not in a USB hub, you should be fine.

And like you said, another 2 USB ports for the Cougars, but they can go into a hub.

Just trying to get a feel for the size of the monitors, are they roughly the size of an Ipad? And just looking into setup and seen a video here. Is setting up pretty straight forward?
