Nellis AFB VFR approaches and departures

    Hi guys,

Just reading through your Nevada Flight Info Pub (v2.1). Looking to try and incorporate more realistic elements into my flying. I really appreciate your guys' dedication to expanding the DCS environment.

I'm just wondering if there's a (publicly available) document that lists VFR departures and arrivals. Unless I'm mistaken, it seems like the Flight Info Pub I'm reading is only used for IFR?

I've watched Eddie's videos showing the Tac North and Tac West departures for the A-10, and I'd like to try some of them myself. Is the documentation only available for your members?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm not sure, however Stuka did make a navpoint mod to google earth. It's awesome work, and you can plot your route that way. Tac North is just Apex to Dry Lake, and Tac West is Flex to Gass Peak if memory serves.

All the VFR procedures are in either the Nellis 11-250 or the Nellis in Flight guide. You should be able to find copies of both via Google. Not sure if we'll be releasing our versions of each in the future or not.

Yeah I've just been checking out that mod, really useful stuff for planning missions. Especially with the NTTR Range mission he produced.

I just have one question about the whole flying in and out of Nellis thing -- How do you pronounce FYTTR? Is it "Fitter", More like "Fighter"? Or do you go "Eff Why Tee Tee Arr"?
