    476th Range Targets Package

    Folks,

The 476th Range Targets package is available for download at the following link:

    The current version is: 14NOV19

The most recent update adds more than 100 custom ground objects to the existing package which, together with the 476th Nevada Test & Training Range (NTTR) mission, accurately depict 129 individual target complexes consisting of more than 2,000 individual desired points of impact (DPI). Of course, these objects can also be placed into user-created missions via the DCS Mission editor.

The 476th NTTR mission file is available for download here:

The Package has been updated to version 17JUN18

    Changes:
Addition of a FCLP box: this object represents the markings on the carrier and can be placed on top of existing runways to assist in field based carrier landing practice.

    Notes:
    1. Due to the large dimensions of the object, it will only work perfect on runways that are completely flat. If there's a slight slope on the runway, you may encounter clipping.
    2. We do not have a IFLOLS object.

Where do I place the concluded miz-file?

In the missions folder, which can be located in the Saved Games folder as well.

    Greetings,
I've downloaded the files, and uzipped into my users\savedgames\dcs open beta\mods\tech folder, and I am unable to see the objects. when I select one of the 467 mission files, I get a message that I need the mods.
Now I have my saved games folder on my c drive and DCS is on my D drive. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
I'm looking forward to creating some training ranges with these objects.

    Hi Pmedic.

Check your tech folder in which you unzipped the mod, and be sure you don't have a nested "476 Range Targets 14NOV19" folder and mission file under a parent "476 Range Targets 14NOV19" folder. You shouldn't have two "476 Range Targets 14NOV19" folders within the "tech" folder, but only the one unzipped "476 Range Targets 14NOV19" folder which contains three sub folders and five files.

If that's not your problem, maybe someone else here can help.
