    Hey guys
I know this cant be that difficult....hopefully you can help me.

Downloaded most recent 476th Range Objects(22 OCT 17) to DCS 1.5.8 as directed without issues. Placed it in my tech folder where I see shapes, textures, Range Objects.lua etc. Problem is cant find it in DCS mission editor under objects. Have searched thru all static objects on left and on right from Cargo to Warehouse without finding.
    What am I missing??

    Hey Doc,

Try looking in the Ground Units tab and then select the Fortification category. The units should be at the top of the list.
    Ex. *Aim-Off Distance Marker

Thx R.......but no joy. Have 6 objects under fortifications from Armed house to Watch tower....nothing else. Have literally gone thru all object cats and subs with no luck.

Do you have them installed in the root directory folder or the saved games folder?

    In the Program files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Mods/tech.

The other route by Saved Games has no mods or tech folders.

You have to manually create those folders in saved games. The mod doesn’t work anymore installed in the DCS World location, only saved games.

So i should add folder "mods" under Saved Games. And then add tech folder under mods. And then add downloaded object to tech.
Will this produce conflict since mods/tech also exist in the other path.
Sorry I'm so tech challenged but changing these things spooks me a little. Sim has been performing so well don't want to jeopardize anything.

Like Snoopy said, move the range objects folder to your saved games path. It can't be in both locations or it will conflict and not show for you.
