Weapons malfunctions

I've been watching videos and movies lately and had a question in regards to weapon malfunctions happening. What will a pilot experience in the A10 with a weapons malfunction?

It depends on the nature of the failure, and the type of weapon. Aside from JDAM/WCMD (and other ther 1760 compatible stores) I f it's a release failure you'd likely see a hung store indication, JDAM/WCMD may report more specifics as part of the weapon's BIT.

If a weapon leaves the jet you'd not see any indication. For stores with no electrical connection to the aircraft you may not get any cockpit indication at all, even for an improper release.
