    Memory Issues

    Hi All,

So I've suddenly started getting BSOD crashes. These happened a couple of times in a day, then the next day they are every 20-60 seconds. No settings changes of any kind or anything done to the PC. Win 10 Memory test says I have memory issues. I've tired pulling each memory DIMM in turn (2x16GB) but with each one solo the crashes continue unchanged.

It therefore seems like either both are dead, or the MB mem controller has a problem. Does anyone know how I can determine between these two possibilities? All the components are less than 4 months old.

    Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz
    MB:
    Asus X99 Deluxe Intel X99

Can't help you much, best way to test things if u cant find some ram from a friend is amazon, buy new ram and test it. If you don't get any more errors you're good, otherwise send the ram back and RMA the mobo.

What is the BSOD error code?

A mission’s execution often reflects the quality, discipline, and tone set in the briefing. - Chris “Kimos” Haave

Had loads of different ones - mostly driver related but some specific memory one as well.

A few include kernel security check error, bad pool caller, PFN list corrupt and reference by pointer. Probably 20 unique different errors.
